The Stitching Machine — How does AI learn from examples, and why does it make things up?

An AI learns only from the examples somebody shows it — and it will never tell you when those examples were wrong. Put your own examples into a small stitching machine, press RUN, watch what it makes of them, turn the cloth over to see where every thread came from, then try to trick it. A story about training data, bias, and why a confident answer is not a true one. Grades 7-9.
