Catch the Fall — How do you balance on a bicycle?

You balance on a bicycle by steering INTO the fall, not by holding the handlebars straight. A bike is always falling over, and every rider on earth catches it a hundred times a minute without knowing they are doing it - which is why a bike with locked handlebars cannot be ridden by anyone, and why walking pace is the hardest speed there is. Tomorrow at eight your whole class rides to the lake and anyone who cannot ride goes in the minibus. You have one hour of light, a gravel car park, and a scraped knee. Learn the real trick tonight, then look at the line you leave in the dust.
