Find a pupil who doesn't show up

How to do it

1. 1Check that the pupil's Chromebook is on and the lid is open. A sleeping computer does not show, but once woken it connects within a minute.0:00
2. 2Check that wifi is on and the Chromebook is connected to the school network. When the network is back, Focuspilot connects by itself.
3. 3Check that the pupil is signed in with the school account, not a personal account and not guest mode.
4. 4Restart the Chromebook. At start the extension tries to connect straight away, even if the Chromebook was turned away earlier.0:31
5. 5If the pupil shows as online but something is off: double-click (or right-click) the pupil's picture in the teacher view. On a touch screen tap the three dots on the card and choose Starta om tillägget. The extension restarts, not the Chromebook. It works on Chromebooks, and it does not reach a computer that is offline.
6. 6On the Chromebook, open chrome://extensions. Focuspilot should be Installerad av din administratör and the icon pinned in the toolbar.0:49
7. 7Open chrome://policy. The install should say OK with source Cloud. Press Ladda om policyer.
